Nashville is a great city to eat and drink, all while enjoying live country music the whole night! Below are our top things to see and eat from our time in Nashville; we put a little of everything from food to country music staples!

WHERE TO STAY

We stayed at the Hilton Downtown Nashville and it was perfect. Beautiful hotel, clean, and affordable when we went. But the best part was the location. About 1-2 blocks from Broadway, it was close to everything we wanted to do in the downtown area and a quick drive from the other spots a bit further out.

WHERE TO EAT

PEG LEG PORKER

BEST RIBS OF YOUR LIFE! There’s really not much more to say except, our father in law brings us some of their dry rub anytime he’s in Nashville – that’s how much we rave about it!
Matt takes his food research very seriously, and rarely does it fail. But we'd say the best part of Peg Leg is how great their story is and how kind the people are. A family owned restaurant, Carey Bringle is so authentic and just a genius in the kitchen. We are thankful Goldbelly can bring us some PLP to our living room these days, but we will always make it a point to stop in when we're in the area. Don't miss out on these ribs and Mac-n-cheese!

HATTIE B'S

Hattie B's Hot Chicken is another amazing local spot!
***Caveat - we waited in the longest line here, about 1-2 hours, but it was worth it.
Delicious hot chicken sandwich, felt very traditional to Nashville!
